The emphasis will be on the evolution of modern philosophy of art and aesthetics, through the philosophy of Kant's and Hegel's philosophy, especially on the split between aesthetics of nature and philosophy of art.
Analysis of the concept of art in the Age of the Enlightenment, Romanticism, Modernism, Postmodernism and in present times.
Understanding of the meaning and sense of art and culture in phenomenology, psychoanalysis, semiotics, cognitive and experimental aesthetics.
Reflexion of art and culture through philosophical anthropology, as well as of some other concepts (humaneness, consciousness, unconsciousness, self-awareness, empathy, memory).
