The students are familiarised with the history and recent movement of foreign language teaching, present situation, main teaching methods and techniques for teaching foreign languages, as well as the with specific features for teaching Japanese as a foreign language. Learning methods of vocabulary and grammar for learners with learning difficulties (inductive, deductive). . Some of the widely used textbooks and other teaching materials for Japanese as a foreign language are introduced and analysed as well as their appropriateness for various situations.
Student teams under the supervisor's guidance plan and carry out a 12-hour (90 minutes x8) language course in the summer semester, and evaluate their own course.
