- the basic strategies for reading English technical texts (textbooks, professional and academic journals, and newspapers),
- the analysis of professional and academic texts,
- the use of dictionaries and electronic media,
- consolidation and expansion of specialised vocabulary,
- viewing and analysis of videos with geographical topics,
- a written and oral summary of a professional or scientific article,
- familiarisation with the use of online proofreading tools and machine translation.
Course topics relate to other courses in the study programme of geography.
